Can anyone with a keen eye tell me which monochrome episode saw Emma Peel wearing a watch with a black and white circular dial that looks a little like a target design. It may have been The Town of No Return or even A surfiet of H2o any help would be appreciated

This particular watch is called 'The Great Avenger' I believe. Smaller versions like the one seen in 'Who's Who ??' are just called 'The Avenger'. I have the original watch fron the B/W era but I doubt much of Emma'a original clothing still exists.

I think the photo comes from the little movie which is shown in "Who's who ???" because yesterday, I watched "Mission Highly Improbable" and I didn't see that photo (the details). It's just because she's got the same clothes.
Maybe it's from a little movie for the promotion of the show.

Yes, I took the picture of this watch from "Who's who?" when the enemies are watching their amateur film about Emma and Steed to prepare their attack.

Another watch is clearly phosphorescent: see the below picture taken in the evening for the episode "THE £50.000 BREAKFAST". Still now, those watches are rather rare. Emma is still ahead of time!

I like Emma when she wears these black clothes !

Me too, and it's my favourite Emma Peel's clothes because the black colour can always be fashionable and enhances so well the silhouette, but I like her other clothes for the original style and sixties fashion. Other girls could have a look extreme in the 60's with hairs too big or forms of clothes too exaggerated, but not Emma. I think Diana had a great influence on it, even for the make-up.

This clothes also appears in "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE STATION".

I have no doubt that someone kept preciously all her watches and clothes. They were so well made and stylish!
