Curious. A day ago her home page had some remark about being sick of fans sniping one another on their websites. Now the statement is gone. I wonder what that was all about--has anyone seen anything that might spark such a sour observation?

Néanmoins, Helen Hill, a remis certaines choses très intéressantes à cette adresse (sous 'goodies') :
http://www.new-gallery-of-art.com
Hello all,
I'd like to explain a bit. My name is Helen Hill and I am the owner of the "New Gallery of Art" website, and also the affectionately loved "Avengingtaglines" site which closed.
I was caught in the crossfires of two very strong egos, each having their own websites of material, and each accusing the other of rifling materials and such, and then putting me in the middle. Both, in some ways, accusing me of not being "loyal" to them and then accusing me of dastardly deeds. (I was not involved in their issues. My only failing was offering my opinion.)
Hence, I closed my site because I was tired of such behaviors. I have carefully built my site with material donated or freely available if you look hard enough. But I have never purloined off of anyone else's site. For example, Liz Eggleson's Definitive Diana Rigg site is a spectacular site with a photo library second to none. Why duplicate someone else's hard work and take what has been obviously a labour of love? She provides great insight and a wonderful library of images and material.
My goal has only to feed my small Avengers / Diana Rigg habit. To provide material that is hard to find - material related strictly to audio and/or video. I have no desire, nor will I, knowlingly seek to duplicate what is already out there.
I do welcome donations, and I will gladly give appropriate credit. But I will not allow myself to become involved in competing egos who argue over who is the preeminent queen or king of Dianadom. I really don't care about such things. I just want to enjoy and share what wonderful material has been provided about our favourite actors.
I closed Taglines as you noted. But I also moved it under my art site so I could be even more a bit eclectic related to my artwork, the 60's, and the Avengers and actors. I hope you will enjoy.
But if you're going to have an argument about egos and websites, permissions, and copying, please leave me out. And I'll make sure I keep my opinions to myself. (Must watch out for Bowen's triangles!) I will not name names. That would be rude.
There will be one more site move coming. Not my websites. But me, as I prepare to move to the UK in the next 9 to 12 months.
Take care.
Helen Hill
