Re: Harry "Aitch" Fielder
Hello, Aitch ! Hope you had a good summer ! Wasn't that bad here, after all...
Was just wondering : when you shot The Persuaders, tell me, did Roger Moore and Tony Curtis got along well together ? Lots of things have been said lately ! I'd like to know if they used to fight or no !
So, any hint ?
Take care, dear Aitch !

Re: Harry "Aitch" Fielder
Hiya, Tony and Roger got on well together with just a couple of words now and again. But if you work for a full year with anyone you're bound to have the odd row.
Roll on the warm weather...

My english is bad but I have understood the answer
I adore Roger Moore and Tony Curtis, I am a fan of the two of them since 1972 when the Persuaders was first broadcasted in a french channel. I was 13 years old at that time, am 49 now and never changed of mind about these fabulous actors.

Re: Harry "Aitch" Fielder
Have a nice Boxing Day, Aitch ! I'm currently watching a football game ( Aston Villa vs Arsenal ) and they keep talking about the Boxing Day tradition. When I was in England, my friends told me about the famous Boxing Day. So now I know... In France, it's not a bank holiday. But people stay at home because of Christmas Eve : they feel tired and they don't go out. Today, I took my daugther to the cinema to watch Madagascar 2. A good movie !
Take care !

Re: Harry "Aitch" Fielder
Harry 'Aitch' Fielder - qui nous a fait l'honneur de passer de temps à autre ici - a récemment fait une attaque et il se remet petit à petit de ses ennuis de santé.
Un bouquin consacré à ses nombreux petits rôles vient de sortir : Extra, Extra, Read All About It.

Harry 'Aitch' Fielder is Britain's most prolific film and tv extra.
Between 1966-98, he appeared in over 800 films and tv programmes and was
fortunate to work with many leading stars of the time, including Sean
Connery, Roger Moore, Alfred Hitchcock, Laurence Olivier, James Mason,
Harrison Ford, Tony Curtis, Rod Steiger and even his great hero James
Cagney. Among his film credits are Star Wars, An American Werewolf in
London, Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Eagle Has Landed. His tv credits
include Randall & Hopkirk(Deceased), The Saint, The Avengers, The
Prisoner, The Champions, Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Minder and The Sweeney.
It would be impossible to cover every job Aitch did during his
thirty-two years in the business, but in Extra, Extra, Read All About
It! he has selected some highlights from his amazing career and
recounted many of the often hilarious experiences he had along the way -
often involving some very famous names! A must-read for any fans of
British films and television of the 60s, 70, 80 and 90s.

Re: Harry "Aitch" Fielder
Harry Fielder qui fut un célèbre extra dans de multiples productions (notamment tournées à Elstree) et qui nous fit l'amitié de passer sur sur le forum de temps à autres, nous a quitté le 06 février, à l'âge de 80 ans. Il avait publié des mémoires aux nombreuses anecdotes : "Extra Extra, Read All About It !: My Life as a Film and TV Extra".
